Now Open: Registration for Summer Scene and Framingham Youth Theater
Dear Families,
The FPS Department of Expanded Learning is excited to share that registration is now open for our Elementary Summer Programs: Summer Scene and Framingham Youth Theater. These programs offer fun, engaging, and enriching experiences for Framingham Public Schools students this summer. Meals and transportation for these programs are provided at no cost. Spots are limited, so don’t wait - register today!
Summer Scene
Location: Stapleton Elementary School
Dates: July 6 through August 7
New this year! We added an additional week of programming. Families can register for individual weeks depending on their needs.
Hours: 8:30am to 3:30pm
New this year! Optional extended day from 7:30am to 5:30pm (requires additional fee)
Eligibility: FPS students entering Grades K through 6 for the 2026-27 school year
Capacity: Up to 170 students per week
Cost (New Pick Your Price Model):
Core program (8:30-3:30): $0 to $200 per week
Extended day: $0 to $100 per week
Framingham Youth Theater
Location: Cameron Middle School
Dates: July 6 through July 31
This is a four-week program. Students must register for all four weeks.
Hours: 8:30am to 3:30pm
Eligibility: FPS students entering Grades 1 through 8 for the 2026–27 school year
Capacity: 75 students
Cost: $1000
Scholarships are available for students with financial need.
Important Registration Information
Students must be registered as current Framingham Public Schools students in order to enroll.
Registration opens on Monday, February 2. Priority registration will remain open through March 6, 2026.
After registration closes, if the number of interested families exceeds available slots, a lottery will be held.
Families will be notified of their child’s application status no later than March 13, 2026.
